Cell phones take such lousy pictures, why on earth do people use them ? I know they are convenient, but come on folks, please use a better camera !!!

I presume the Fourtitude Imola RS4 collection post precipitated this?
It's because we are too damn excited about picking up the car. We rush out of the house without remembering to bring the camera along. I went to see my car no fewer than 4 occasions over the 5 days between them driving it off the truck and me driving off in it. I only remembered the camera the very last day. :-P

There's absolutely nothing wrong with my camera phone. I love the image quality!
Well, maybe there's a miniscule amount of distortion but it's hardly noticeable most of the time...

Because they don't care.
If they did, you'd see better pictures...more selfless posts...more honest discussion, and less whining and bickering about this or that issue...and lastly, less focus on any particular argumentative cheeseheads that might be stinking up the place. Indeed, this forum offers very little help, nevermind the pictures. As an example, check out the TT forum.

Hopefully, as the car becomes more popular, the people in numbers will drown out the social losers and actually provide usefull information and help.

I've got more bad news for you
Even car manufacturing sites have crap images. Just go take a look at how hard it is to see a good image. Everything, even on Audi, and even Maserati, has tiny images. Maserati only offers a weency single image of their Quattroporte..
