removal of lower half of air box
Today I had some free time on my hands and decided to check the air filters and *maybe* take out the horn/flap assembly if it wasn't too much of a pita.
Surprisingly its pretty easy to disassemble it to the point of having the lower half of the air box left but thats where I *chickened* out..lol
I took off the funky fender clip ok for the lower half of air box assembly and loosed the front headlight by taking out the two top screws but nothing seemed to want to move so I kinda just cleaned the pre filter and put things back in place.
So once you take that plastic clip off the fender do you just start pulling the box up? If so do you need to get it wiggled out a bit to disconnect the vacuum line on the assembly b/c I cant even see where the line is.
I tried removing the two screws of the headlamp but it doesnt seem to come forward enough (like 1/4") to be helpful.
Any suggestions appreciated!
