Default rs4 ecu

anyone had problems with ecu mine has just packed up after 2000 miles , problem with earth switching or so they say ,not to impressed at moment , might have to order new m3

Default First, huh? Second, what makes you think the new M3 won't have issues? Third, huh?...

If your saying your ECU isn't working, then have the dealer get you a new one and off you go.

Default no, I can't be serious when people tell me their ECU is 'earth switching'.

is this your mechanic?

Default Are you in the UK or some other ex Brit colony - we don't use the tearm earth much in the US

grounding is the term here?

Default "knoboff" should have been a clue : )

grounding...would indicate a circuit on the board is closing(grounding).

unlike the RS4 perhaps the ECU in the M3 is connected to such a position of zero potential...
