not really a fan of HDR... too much glow around the car.

Yeah either you love it or hate it..this was one of my first attempts at it, I dig the glow..makes the car stand out..
although admittedly this pic needs work additional tweaking to bring out the contrast etc..

Default nice, but needs a bit of work (imo)

I think the car itself looks nice, good job there. However the glow around the car looks like you wanted to do some color correction on the car only but you didn't want to spend the time to do a proper clipping path and instead you did a rough selection then feathered it, thus creating the glow. It looks like a mistake.

The street and the grass + homes in the background need some basic color correction, they are too dark right now and could use some contrast. You wouldn't even need to re-do the HDR, just do a selection of the area and do a levels or curves in photoshop.

Now if you want the car to pop and you made the background dark on purpose, I would suggest another solution. Color correct the background then do a selection of the background and do a lens blue, so only the car is focus giving a cool depth of field effect.

Overall nice work, you just need some small touches to hit this one home! If you make some tweeks, post em up.

Default I think HDR can make images fake loking if taken too far. A subtle HDR proccessing can be nice..

but if you are too aggressive you wind up with the halos, etc. that are here.

Ray J - Keep it up... HDR is fun, but I think needs to be done with a light hand.
