exactly, but you don't get the deductible back until the subrogation is complete.
in my case, I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. Even though the police report indicated this, the other party's insurance company had to 'confirm' that he was involved in the accident....well they tried for weeks to reach this guy w/o success. So I said '**** it' and just had my insurance pay for the repairs, minus my $500 deductible. My insurance went through the subrogation process to get their money (and my deductible) back, but it was several months before I received a check reimbursing me for the deductible. So the point is that subrogation is best avoided, in my experience.

Been there, Done That. I'm still waiting for parts. See my earlier post.
Body Shop is up to 8 grand and still counting.
Won't know the rest until they get it torn down.
Problem is there are NO parts in the country.
It really sucks!!!
