Early last month (Oct) I ordered my Ibis RS4. A week ago my dealer said it was scheduled for delivery the week of 1/8/07, but today he says it's been changed to the week of 12/18/06 - almost a month sooner. Now I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, and that is sure good news to hear, but I'm reluctant to set my expectations based on it in case it does in fact turn out to be too good to be true.

So, the question is, does this sound plausible? If so, what explanation might there be for it? Are there any other dates the dealer might provide that could lend any additional insight into the exact status of my order, and if so what are they?

Mine was scheduled to arrive at the dealer the first of October, and showed up the 28th of August. Be glad you're not at the other end. My new W12 was ordered in March and is just now getting ready to leave Germany this month.
