RS4 tire pressure
#11
This is a general rule of thumb that works for most tires
There are some exceptions such as some R compound tires, Hoosiers, etc
but in general if 40 psi cold is good for you and your driving style/skill level for street then in general you want to shoot for 40 psi hot when on the track. 40/40 rule I call it
Now if only I can find some good 18" tires for
my new car. Wheels are easy in 18 but the 255/40/18 not so much out there that I see, maybe Vredestein sessantas would be a relatively
inexpensive track day tire for this heavy car. My search shall continue

the sticker on the door says 41, I tried 41 and it felt like a little too much so I dropped a couple
lbs. and it felt better(oem pzeros), 32-33 is pretty low leading to overheating-blow out the sidewall-crash. Someone in the service dept. may be trying to kill you either intentionally or by ineptness.

Manual says 38 F / 35 R
..under normal load conditions - i.e. 3 or less passengers and not much in the trunk. 41 F / 41 R is for max load conditions.
I usually run 38 F / 35 R for the street - works well this way. On track, 42 F / 42 R *hot*.
