Default RS4 Transmissions ...
Okay ... I'm ready for flaming. I'm not looking for commentary RE: manual vs. automatic. I would like to know if the RS4 will be available in the US in an automatic. I want a fast, kick-*** car, but I do drive A LOT of stop-and-go also and for that, manual SUCKS BIG DONG. Any information out there? Thanks.

Default No. You should get the new 997 Turbo in Tiptronic.
Porsche claims the 5spd Tiptronic is quicker 0-60 than the 6spd manual. Something about pre-loading the torque converter, IIRC.

Just imagine what the PDK will do when (if ever) it arrives on a later version of the 997 Turbo.

Default i have the same problem. and I'm tired of tip. possible solutions are
1) find another job and stop doing The Commute From Hell
2) get a car with SMG or DSG
