RS4 vs S5 today....just some thoughts....
So I was down at my little brothers home in southern Jersey today. We both have an exotic toy, and I enjoy the RS4 as a daily as he has a nice black S5. He continually was talking trash about the S5, more advanced platform, as fast as the RS4(fool), better interior(true),so I took it out for a drive today, then a few short races to about 120. First off, I LOVE the interior of the S5...Hands down a phenominal interior...THe B8 platform as well, and man did it sound pretty mean stock. Somewhere between the RS4 with S off and on.
On the runs straight out, the RS4 easily walked the S5...car and a half plus at 60 and about 4 cars by 120 on about a dozen runs....
I really think the extra 1500 rpms helped quite a bit, but i also an have aftermarket exhaust on the RS4(+2hp)...
All that said...I may trade in the RS4 for the new S4 when it is launched as a supercharged, tweek it, and wait for the possibility of an RS5 or RS4....
My RS4 with stasis handled incredibly better than the S5, but something about the fele of the S5 cockpit...I really liked the car quite a bit after bashing it for being a pig compared to the 335i....

depends on what purpose, each evo is amazing in its own ways
EVO X: amazing daily car, handles unbelievably, super modern and comfortable. Loses rawness of previous evos.
EVO IX: go kart for the road. Most fun in a car you can ever get. No modern conveniences, just pure car.
335xi: crappiest car on face of the planet, want to drive it off cliff. It drives like a couch, actually want to have someone else drive it off a cliff cause I dont even want to drive it to the cliff. Horrible.

My exotic is a 360 spider, brothers is a F430....Audi's the daily..
Guess I did not really make it that clear when I stated we both have an exotic and Audis as dailys. No, I do not realy consider either the S5 or RS4 an exotic, and not even a V8 R8, though rare it is.
