With RS4 would A3 3.2 S-Line bring disappoinment to Audi stable?

We have the RS4 Cab and A3 2.0T. Utterly different animals. Depends what you want.
First of all, just like the RS4, the 3.2 needs some time to loosen up. In some cases, they keep getting better for about 10K miles, then level out. So when new, they might feel a bit lackluster - try to drive one that has some miles, as an example. The car is also a bit noisier at speed on the highway than you would expect. If my car were not a lease, I would have installed some dynamat or similar product around the rear shock towers and front wheel wells. A number of R32 and A3 3.2 owners have upgraded the Haldex controller, and all have enjoyed the greater rear bias it provides.
But for zippy around-town blasting, nothing compares to the A3 IMHO. Point it at a hole in traffic, and the rest seems to happen by itself. Easy to park. Flies under radar. Available with bells and whistles not normally found in small hatchbacks.
I would have re-upped, but the 3.2 doesn't come in stick, and I just can't stand two pedal cars, no matter how good they are.

Re: Depends on your expectations.....
I'm going to agree with Vijay. The A4 avant would probably be a better buy. The A3 3.2 is a blast to drive. But I think i'd rather have the Avant for the torsen diff vs the Haldex in the A3 if the car was for snow use. But the DSG is such a good transmission! If you want to row your own the Avant is the only way to go.

So which do you have ? the 2.0T or the 3.2 ? You mentioned both.
I loved the 2.0T I drove a couple of times. I had so much fun in it that my wife said "why do you want the RS4 then ?"...

We have the 2.0T, but I was really hoping Audi would bring the 3.2 in stick (love the sound)
No snow here, and it's not our ski car, so Front Trak not an issue other than trying to hook up the front end when pushing hard in tight turns. 2.0 T DSG cars have more wheelspin it seems - harder to modulate throttle I guess.
