Default Sandisk SDHC 8GB card

Has anyone tried to use their SD reader? Can it read the SDHC type? thanks!

Never tried it, but I doubt SDHC cards will work. Regular 8GB SD cards worked fine for me though.

correction, the regular SD cards I have are 4GB, not 8GB. I think anything above 4GB are all SDHC.

Default SDHC don't work, and only reads limited amount of info on SD.....

I forget the number of files and memory, but there are 4GB non-SDHC SD cards, but car can not read the whole thing, so no advantage over 2GB SD card....sorry. I have about 5 gigs on four 2GB cards with some room to add to each. Each represents a portion of the alphabet in my iPod...ie: A-D E-H, etc. still works pretty well, though.

Default it's not that the Audi can't read the whole 4GB SD card...

it's just that there's a limit to the number of files in a file heirarchy. I forget the amount, but it is possible to use all 4GB while still remaining within the file number limitation. Example: having large MP3 files (large individual music MP3s that contain entire albums or hour long mixes, rips of entire CDs into a single MP3 not separated by tracks, etc.)

Default So I have to rearrange things to get the whole thing (With accessibility to each song)...

on one or two 4GB cards and be "all set"? That's encouraging, but too bad my 4GB card fell behind the screen into the space under the head unit :-/ Thanks sir
