Default Sigh.. RS4 sure does attract attention

So I'm fillin up the car the other day at rush hour, in Brookline, when up rolls one of those white chevy vans. The guy sticks his head out of the window with a smile and says "Hey man, I know this may sound crazy, but do you want to buy a home theater system? Its from Best Buy"

I mean, come on.. does anyone really buy **** out of the back of a van?? I thought that was an urban myth

Default It's not an urban myth, I've had it happen to me here in Montreal and no it's not because...

Of your car, it's because the stuff in the van is slightly warm! LOL.

Default I wouldn't neccessarily say the stuff is "warm"...

While it could be, a lot of these scams are just products that are crap.

They take a known, quality speaker manufacturer and slightly change the name so it sounds the same to the casual/uninformed buyer (like Paradyme instead of Paradigm). They sell junk products under these names.

I've been approached by them (in the typical white van).

I have had trucks pull up to my office and someone comes in and asks the receptionist if anyone in the company wants to buy some furniture/electronics/video games. "We brought too many of these and [name of retailer] can't accept them so we'll just have to send them back to the manufacturer. Unless you want to buy some at a great deal!"
