I am hoping to order mine today, depending on my local dealer's willingness to come more off of MSRP than he already has. I have better offers out of state but would prefer to order here. What do any of you new owners have as tips on options( Is the Premium pack worth the extra $5,000+ ) and how do any owners with Silver Leather like it? I am going Daytona w Carbon.

I prefer silver/platinum to black, even though I have black in my S4. Wife's A4 has silver/platinum leather and it just looks nicer, IMO.

I would get the premium pkg, even at $5k. In fact, I would get every option available on the RS4. If you're going to spend north of $70k, I don't see the point in skimping anywhere, and maybe regretting it later. JMO though.

But then maybe that's a n/c option with the sunroof delete.

isn't the Sunroof dragged in with the premium pkg? Forgive me if I'm wrong but I just haven't looked into specific pricing since I bought this time last year...and later the upgrade in January.

It was regarding the S4, but I'm assuming the same for the RS4. I heard stuff in the past about having a sunroof delete option.

Anyway, that's the main reason I opted not to get the premium package. I don't care about the heated seats or mirrors anymore.

I'm thinking if you start dinking around with options on a car like the RS4 it could prove to be a tough sell later on. For leases, wouldn't matter.

Silver Fun

I have a silver/silver/carbon RS4 on the way. I presently have a silver interior in my black S4. One of my partners has a black interior in his silver S4 and the silver either inside or out is easier to keep looking nice. If you ever park it outside the silver interior in my car is much cooler than the black interior in his lighter colored car.

Trust me, there will always be people (albeit rare) that want one w/o the sunroof or extra goodies. I sincerely think a majority of ppl out there are not interested because this car is not offered with Tip.

RS4 tip?...that's not a target group Audi was concerned with in the RS4, IMO. Those that need Auto are better off with the S4, IMO.

Thats why I said *no more so than the S4*

I'm just saying the demographics are different for this vehicle. Some of those creature comforts on this car may not be a big deal to some as opposed to the your typical S4 shopper.
