Smokey RS4?
When I first start 'er up from cold, there's a cloud of blue exhaust smoke. This doesn't last for any more than 15 to 30 seconds, then all seems to be well. Otherwise the engine seems to run well, smooth as silk. I've only got about 400 miles on the car so far, so perhaps this will improve as it breaks in. Or will it? Anyone else have a smokey RS4, or has mine got a problem? The oil level seems fine, by the way.

I figure it's just a bit of oil getting past the valves (and/or the rings),
that burns off in the combustion chamber on cold startup. Once she's fully broken in and the valves and rings are seating better (hopefully), the smokiness should diminish. Perhaps that's why many owners have reported seemingly excessive oil consumption prior to full break-in. I had an E39 M5 that would burn a little blue when started up cold (which I'm sure was perfectly normal), but it was not nearly as bad as this RS4. I'll have the dealership take a look at it just to be safe.
