Default Can you even buy any of those oils in the US?

Seems like worthless data if I can't apply it.

I have always liked Amsoil. I have gone back and forth and can tell the difference in Amsoil.

Default That is an Amsoil advertising website. They arent an approved audi oil anyways...

but that is typical amsoil sales strategy. Create fake websites that look like legit news sites or automotive sites and put your advertising "studies" on there. Give any person who will buy the oil the right to be a "distributor" and then give them a free website too so whenever anyone searches for oil studies they come about these advertising sites.

Default AFAIK, the best oil on their list that is VW 502.00 approved AND available in the US is the M1 0w-40

which is ranked #3 & 4 overall.

now, some of the others technically ARE available in the US, but....for example....Shell Helix Ultra can only be purchased in 55gal drums in the US. At least that's what I was told by a local distributor.

you'll find some of those on ebay, but not in any retail outlets.
