So apparently, the RS4 shares the same exact oil cartridge filter as the Q7...

I'm assuming that holds true for other FSI 4.2L's? And the non-FSI 4.2L's have a different oil filter.

correct...

The B6/B7 S4 has the same cartridge as the non FSI V8's found in the A6/Allroad/A8.

while non-FSI 4.2L's seem to have the same part # except ending with an "A" instead of "B"
