so i put songs on an SD card on my mac, and i got a card error from the RS4 - i just dragged them
from itunes, right onto the front folder of the SD cards...no sub folders or anything
did i do somethin gwrong?
got a 4 hour drive tonight i'd love some entertainment on

I don't think u can do it that way.
You need to find the mp3's on your harddrive and drag those onto you SD card. iTunes does not copy to SD cards without 3rd party software installed that is meant to do that.
But be warned, once you copy over a bunch of files to the card Mac OS X will create a bunch of invisilble files on your SD card that you will not see when its mounted on your computer, but when you put the card in the nav all these files that look like duplicates of your mp3 will show up.
I use a little utility called Blue Harvest to "clean" my sd cards of these invisible files before ejecting them, works great:<ul><li><a href="http://www.zeroonetwenty.com/blueharvest/">http://www.zeroonetwenty.com/blueharvest/</a</li></ul>

Are they MP3 files or AAC files? RNS-E only plays MP3s. Some Mac advice -->
I use a program called SyncTunes that will take your iTunes playlists and sync them to your SD card. Will also create playlists for you and even convert file formats if needed.
