Has anybody tried this on their RS4? I know that it's much more useful for a forced induction application, but seems there are still plenty of benefits for NA too. Based on posts here, if the factory ECU already pulls timing, there should still be some benefit. I wouldn't expect much HP wise, but look at the links below for some of the other benefits. I would guess that the cost per HP vs a chip would be the same or better.

Crickets....aside from one post. I've decided to go this route at some point in the future.
May not be for a little bit as money is a little tight right now and there are a few other things I would want to do first that might make a custom tune worthwhile.

I think this would be a great conversation.
A bit of info I've read before<ul><li><a href="http://www.snowperformance.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1444&highlight=audi">http://www.snowperformance.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1444&highlight=audi</a</li></ul>

Hi, Don't know how helpful I'll be as my RS4 is blown but even before Supercharging I was looking to add injection primarily for carbon cleaning. I could'nt find a tuner to recalibrate my ECU so I tabled the project. I'll pull the trigger when I find a tuner near Seattle who can recalibrate my ECU to have "Injection on/off" modes in addition to my existing modes for different octane(s),race gas and valet. I have just begun looking for a tuner with a respectable track record & will circle back to you once I do.
If carbon cleaning is among your reasons to add injection or you have a carbon buildup issue. I'd suggest using GM's #1052626 upper engine & fuel injector cleaner. Audi performed a cleaning at 36k. A few thousand miles later I used Seafoam spray but after that every 3-5k I'd use half a bottle of GM's cleaner. There was next to no buildup when they removed my stock manifold during the charger install. The installer was floored to find out that it'd been 16k since my last cleaning (odometer was at 52k).
Unlike other cleaners that spray liquid into the manifold at the throttle body the GM cleaner emits a shaving cream like foam that expands so it effectively reaches into the crevices and areas that a liquid spray couldn't get to w/o removing the manifold. The foam reacts with the carbon deposits, liquifies then drains and is expelled. Unsure if this has anything to with your desire for injection but I hope it helps.
