Default It wasn't cheap, but very worth it.....

For the rear bumper I might just black out the refelectors (I haven't decided yet). But the reflectors in the front also take up about an inch of the vents and I not only wanted to get rid of the amber; I also wanted the full vent.

Default Yes 3M......

It's holding up great, no yellowing at all, no peeling and it protects great.

My shop just did a black 997 Turbo and it looks amazing.

Yes, I VAGed the car so the silver visions only blink when signaling or hazards are on.

Default Great question and I don't know why I didn't write that in my post.....

After you open them up you have all the time in the world to play around. That's b/c after you are finished just put the two housing pieces back together, but the clips on, and put it back in the oven for the same amount of time on the same temperature. This way your making the glue super sticky again and the clips will pull the two pieces together nicely as it warms up.

Then you can do what I did and silicone around the housing just in case the glue didn't seal perfectly in every spot (even though I think it did). The only thing is that I waited about 2 hours before applying the silicone giving the housings time to seal.

Also, before applying the silicone take the clips off again, then re-apply them after you put use the silicone.

Default I'm curious to see how this holds up, "moisture in lights" wise through seasonal temp changes.

I would be afraid of moisture and voided warranty issues.
