Default Some RS4 pics i snapped at Audi HQ, Ingolstadt.

Had a chance to visit Ingolstadt during a trip to Germany. Took the factory tour as well and it was amazing. Thought you folks might like these pics!

Default I may go there in few weeks; I have some questions -

I went through their website, but can you elaborate on what you got to see and do? Also, can you provide me the best way to make arrangements?

Thanks

Default Here are the details..

Call +49 (841) 89-37575 to reserve a spot. You can also email them at welcome@audi.de if you have any questions.

I called them 2-3 days in advance to reserve a spot on the factory tour (its called the "Production - compact" tour). They have an English tour at 11:30 every day. It cost 4 Euros and lasted ~ 2 hours. There is a short introductory video and then the guide takes the group through the factory explaining the various stages in the assembly line at Ingolstadt. Only A4s and A3s are built there.

Apart from the tour, you can check out the Audi museum and pick up some goodies at the Audi shop I also had lunch at the Audi cafe there. In all, i spent about 5 hours.

I didn't have a car at my disposal so had to take a train to Ingolstadt. The factory is about a 20 min. drive by bus/taxi from the train station (Ingolstadt Hbf).

Hope that helps!
