Default Sparkhill, need some help

Just picked up my 08 last night and went to code it. When I went into electronics to remove my seatbelt chime I had 23268, instead of 23261. I subtracted 2 and nothing happened. Then I tried to just code it to 23259 and it rejected the coding. I also went into adaptations like your write-up shows and went to channel 61. It says removing 512 deactivates your TPMS. Just wondering if you meant to write that, instead of, "removes seat belt chime."
I thought I would post this, instead of emailing you, because I figure everyone getting an 08 is now going to be faced with the same problem I am. I hope you can help and really appreciate everything you do for us. Thanks!

BTW - My VIN is: N901480
Still in Colorado

Default Coding?

This is completely new and intriguing. Is there a description of these codes somewhere?

Thanks

Default Maybe someone else can "chime" in

While I never got around to finishing the VAG-COM write-up, the coding is correct for all 2007's - except for the error you caught. I don't have access to a 2008 to see the differences but I think someone posted about it a while back.

Hopefully somebody with an '08 can confirm what they did. Also, sorry for the delayed reply.

Default Thanks for the reply. Hopefully someone out there will be able to enlighten us all.

If you want to take a trip to Colorado, I would be more than happy to donate mine so you can complete your write-up ) Again, thanks for everything you do for the board.
