Herr Takes 2nd in His Nalley Audi/Clear Capital/STaSIS Audi A4
Courtney Finishes 10th Continues to Lead Rookie of the Year Standings

Braselton, Georgia (September 29, 2006) STaSIS Motorsports and Chip Herr came to Road Atlanta and landed on the podium for the third straight race. After qualifying in 5 th position Herr launched his #17 Nalley Audi/Clear Capital/STaSIS Audi A4 from the third row into the lead by Turn One. Herr eventually was shuffled back to 3 rd position by the second lap where he found himself in a heated battle for 2 nd . Herr finally won the battle in lap 20 moving into 2 nd where he stayed to finish with his 4 th podium of the year.

"We had a great start with our all-wheel drive as always, but I wanted to be patient and make sure that we had a good car for the end of the race," Herr said. "I was trying to stay clean and run up front and once Randy [Pobst] and Eric [Curran] got a run on me it was really close. They got a run on me coming into Turn Ten. I was basically a gentleman and tried to follow them. They had a little bit more on me. It was hard for me when the two of them stuck together and I got bumped out of the draft. I'd like to thank the crew for putting together a fantastic car that got stronger as the race progressed. I'd also like to thank Nalley Audi Roswell for all their support this week." The 2 nd place finish moved Herr into the 3 rd position in the SPEED World Challenge Touring Car Driver's Championship. He has a 9 point lead over 4 th place defending champion Peter Cunningham heading into the final race at Laguna Seca on October 19 - 22.

STaSIS Motorsports rookie Jeff Courtney continues to hold his Piloti SPEED Touring Car Rookie of the Year lead. Courtney qualified 14 th , but got a good start and jumped to 9 th by the end of lap 1. Courtney had a strong drive working his #99 Kenda/MPI Coin/Karavan Trailer/STaSIS Audi A4 up to 7 th position by lap 21. At that point Courtney developed a mechanical issue, but gamely held on to finish in 10 th position in the 27 lap race. That finish left Courtney in 8 th in the overall driver standings and with a 27 point lead in the rookie standings with one race to go. A finish of 15 th or higher at Laguna Seca and Courtney will be the Piloti SPEED Touring Car Rookie of the Year.

"Fast" Freddy Baker in the #18 STaSIS Fred Baker Audi/STaSIS Audi A4 qualified 20 th and had a nice run going working his way 14 th by lap 13. Baker looked to be heading toward to top 10 finish, but an on track incident forced an early retirement.

Default Sorry, the splitter is designed for the DTM kit and would most

likely not fit the wider stance of the RS4.
