i spoke with Dave from zeckhausen.com and he's stated that stoptech will be releasing a 2-piece rotors for the RS4 "this summer" which is great news considering how much the OEM ones cost. ironically, the owners of centric/stoptech both drive RS4s.

right now i am looking to upgrade the rear with a BBK but haven't successfully found anything (besides the MovIt BBK). brembo stated it's "impossible" to create a bolt-on BBK for the rear with e-brake, so i guess we're SOL (for those that want a rear BBK).

anyone know what kind of rear brakes the R8 has, or is it like the RS4?

too bad nothing from the S4/R8 bolt-on to the RS4. obviously i know the fronts do most of the work, but gotta love the look of killer wheels mounted on a front/rear BBK.

I have been using Brembos on my cars for many years. I wish they would come up with a rear kit.

Of all the cars that don't need bigger rear brakes, this has to be the one. The weight distribution is already 60-40, and when you step on the brakes there might be 8 pounds left on the rear axle.

Girodisc is also a possible source of replacement rotors. I'd like to have directional for no other reason than they are directional. I guess that doesn't make much more sense than a rear BBK, so I should probably shut my pie hole.
