These kits feature Alcon 6 piston Monobloc calipers that provide extreme stiffness thanks to the one piece cast design and cast in stiffening bridge. Also included are Alcon 14.5" rotors that feature excellent metallurgy and airflow design, fitted with our floating system to all aluminum hats to eliminate any possibility of warping as well as provide a lightweight overall system. STaSIS all aluminum mounting brackets, SBS Pro-Track pads Goodridge coated stainless steel braided lines and Motul brake fluid round out this show stopping package. That this means to you is the ultimate in stopping ability, excellent pedal feel and modulation ability and extremely long service life!

Why does no one sell the Euro CF system as a 'mod'? Aren't there weight savings in that?

Default I would be willing to bet that the CF option is more than $5,000 and the Alcon's are the...

best brake system that you can buy. For $3,300, what a deal. I just have not found my RS brakes to inadequate. YET!!!

Default What makes you think they're "better" than Stoptechs?

in fact, their calipers are stiffer than the Alcons at all pressures:

And their 355mm kit is $1400 less. I'm not planning on buying either kit, just saying I don't think there's much tangible evidence to prove one is "better" than the other. The Alcon kit has slightly bigger rotors, but is their vane design "better"? Probably not.
