Thank you moderators for the much improved atmosphere!
You all took fire for all of us and I for one appreciate the pro-active efforts to bring sanity back to the forum.

Thanks to you and the others who stick around despite the occasional mud slinging!:)
I had limited access to a terminal and a very slow connection for two weeks, thus missed this buildup. Sorry to the innocent bystanders who had to watch.

The moderators know I appreciate them for when things *really* get out of hand....
...and by that I mean stepping in when people threaten your family and/or livelihood (and yes, that's happened on more than one occasion). Having said that, there's a difference between casual mud-slinging and personal threats. Most of you here probably perceive me as an obnoxious ******* looking to pick a fight or whatever...and in a *virtual* sense, that may be somewhat true. But I've never personally threatened anyone here. Ever. So take what you read with a grain of salt. Yes, we get carried away sometimes. But let's try to resist the temptation to make our internet persona more than it really should be...which is basically nothing. If all of us were hanging out at a bar, much of what is said here (not including the things that are actually on-topic) would be laughed off as a joke...and that's really all it should be.
Kris, April...you know I appreciate what you do here, and I'll eat a little crow and admit that I didn't always appreciate it. I know that you're as good a judge as anyone in differentiating posts that are surreptitiously jovial (*raises hand*) and those that are actually malicious. In other words, just keep doing what you're doing and you won't see any complaints by me.
My 2 cents.
