Default For those with a V-1 radar detector

are you tired of those new Infiniti SUVs setting off your laser warning. I believe they have a laser-sensing cruise control. Once you pass one, my V-1 picks up their laser every 15 - 30 seconds. WTF are people doing using cruise control during rush hour. . .

Default I've always wondered...

...if these Infinity/Lexus owners can't use any radar detectors w/ laser protection because they'd be going off every 15 seconds?

they have a "sensor" that tracks the road lines to see if you are wandering.

Default cheap radar detectors do a similar thing, even in logic mode.

between those, led brakelights, and lane departure systems it can be a pain in the ***.

but i can't drive without it anymore. it's so good.

That's probably it vs. the cruise control theory.

Default Get a good laser jammer and then disable the laser alert in the V1

In 99.99% of the cases, all a laser detector does is inform you that you're about to get ticketed.

Default Forget about using one in a Q7 also...something makes it go nuts

either the parking sensors or the dynamic ride control sensors make the V1 alert all the time.

It's the side assist in the mirrors. It uses radar.
