For those who have had DRC failure - I need your HELP!
Well, my car has 3600 miles and I have DRC failure. My dealer, the only one in Nova Scotia, has never worked on a DRC system. They simply stated that my front two shocks need to be replace and that the service manager would call me (which they have not). They have no clue as to what tools to use, etc.. So what all should be replaced? Any tips or info?
Thanks! I appreciate any help!

The only thing I can suggest is to have your dealer contact a US dealer that has done it before...
Mine was repaired at Biener Audi in Great Neck, NY. The tech who worked on it was Greg.
Hopefully he can tell your dealership what he ordered and what he did to get it right.

I also had both front shocks leaking but it was at 16K miles and out of warranty. I was told that
if a shock leaks the central valve and the shock diagonal to the leaking shock also had to be replaced, basically the whole system if you have two leaking shocks. Since mine was out of warranty I just had Stasis/Ohlin SL's installed and I'm very happy with them.

There's also a pump that the dealer should have that is used to
pressurize the system. It needs to be pressurized to approximately 12 bars. If the system doesn't have enough pressure, or if it hasn't been evacuated properly and has air in th eline then it won't work properly.

How'd they back up the "out of warranty"
We were discussing that in a prior post - the warranty book gives no special mention of a short DRC warranty.

5/75 ?
There's a post over on RS246 stating that the UK guys are getting letters from AudiUK saying that the warranty on DRC components has been raised to 75kmi / 5 years.
The thread also says that Audi have isolated the problem to "a small number of RS4's". Whatever that's worth.

God, what a mess!
draining, refilling, pressurizing, and attempting to bleed air out of fluid in shocks. How can that go wrong? LOL.
If Audi wants to use this type of dynamic suspension, they need to go to magnetic.
