Hello Audi aficionados! I'm a recent Audiphile, having previously had multiple M3s (still have one actually), and I'm acutely interested in the RS4. Right now I'm talking to my dealer about ordering one, and he is quoting 3-4 months (longer if I want a special color - I saw a white one that's proving hard to forget). Does that sound right to you? Better still, do any of you know of cars that are currently available (preferably on the west coast)?

sparkhill's post that you linked is the only source of available cars on the west coast that I'm aware of. your dealer might also be willing to find an available car for you elsewhere in the US, and have it shipped....you'd have to ask them. finding a daytona gray or phantom black car would probably be easy. white...not gonna happen (it's not a standard color, special order only).

and expect it by year-end (16 weeks or so). I was at the dealer today and he tried to sell me the Daytona Gray/black interior. However, it was parked near an Avus '03 RS6 (still gorgeous after many years on the road). I'm willing to wait. Good luck!

I've been trying to find an available RS4 in my area, but thus far been unable. Today my dealer called and said I can get one, even a custom color one, in 8 weeks. I said I had heard more like 16, and he said that because that dealership had no orders before mine 8 might be more like it.

Do you guys buy this, or is he just trying to get me to order?
