Default Took a little road trip to Vegas this morning...

Wonderful drive and nearly 99% traffic free. I can say the limiter is soft and the speedo is extremely optomistic. Never the less, GPS doesn't lie and I had yet to feel an electronic nanny before backing off...

Default killer :)

I did nearly that on my way back from Vegas once when my car was on stock turbos.

5- and 6-lane highways are awesome when you've got them all to yourself

Default I took the back roads through the Mojave desert...

I passed a few semis around Amboy and didn't see another vehicle for 100 miles. Ther are some really long straights, but the roads have severe undulations in them which kept my avg speeds down quite a bit.

Default Did you run a V1 for peace o' mind?

That Vegas run is frickin awesome huh? All through the Mojave you can really open it up and enjoy the soundtrack of insane speediness.

Depends on the American car. We've cleared 195mph on that run in a Ford GT...

Every B6 and later A4/S4 I've driven (and checked) has had a very optimistic speedometer.
