Default Took the RS on a short road trip to LA for New Years. 1360 miles city and highway.

Average speed 62mph. Average economy 20.4. Added a total of 1 qt of oil since taking delivery.

Very comfy. The ride just fine for taking the worst lumps out of the road while offering some semblence of control. Gearbox finally loosening up a bit. Engine a total peach. Brakes modulate in a linear fashion and are just lovely for seamlessly smooth stops under all conditions. Fantastic ride for styling up and down the beach cities in OC - and for pwning the unsuspecting! ;-)

Nav works great except for at one point it directed us verbally to go north (direction we did not want to go and knew better), even while the display clearly showed a southern heading.

Default It was 380 miles highway each way (760 total), with the remaining 600 miles being

stop and go driving in LA.

Default I could've sworn the nav has done similar things to me...

but thought I was just hearing things. I had no passengers to confirm.

Default Mine has tried to send me through a long winding industrial park...

Just to come out at the next light 1/8 mile down the road right in front of me.

Default After several long trips, sweet spot for MPG seems to be...

about 75mph to 82mph, getting about 23.4 indicated and fill-up verified. Seems to do worse at lower or higher speeds, for some reason.

This is after 5 trips to San Fran, 2 trips to Vegas and 1 trip to Phoenix.

Tire pressures are verified at 37psi prior to each trip on PS2's.

Anybody else having similar experiences?

Default The Nav is mediocre at best

hat to say this, but compared to BMW and Mercedes, the Audi Nav sucks......

In addition to being subpar, the voice continually tells me the wrong direction while the map clearly shows the correct direction.....
