Took a trip up to Stasis and JHM - MS and Solid shifter installed

The car rides AMAZING when hitting the twisties. From the get go, I could feel the difference. The steering feel is much tighter and there is almost no body roll.
The main thing I was concerned about was ride quality after lowering the car. The ride is definately stiffer and you feel the road much more, however it does not feel like the suspension is taking too much of a hit on bad roads. The dampers really do seem to react quick enough to blunt the stiff ride.
I have them set as high as possible, but as you can see in the pic the car is definately lower than before. Overall I am very happy with the MS, but i plan to adjust the dampers a click or so and see if I can get the car to ride a little softer over the uneven roads.
Jason at JHM is a great guy and really sells a solid (pun intened) product. I love the short throws, and definately worth it.

Nice. Interesting you say to want them softer. I could never really see how...
people could say they rode like stock. Fantastic as they surely are, I'm glad you've redeamed my sense of physics. The spring rates are pretty huge in these good kits, stock ride will suffer. Well "suffer" is probably the wrong word... "be better" is probably what I mean

SIIIIICK!!! RS4 + MS + Titanium = So good.
You'll be happy with your choice! As with the STaSIS products on my car, the harder they're used the better they perform. The clearer the reasons for modding. So, when you're driving like The Transporter the new gear really comes into its own but they will take a bit of getting used to when comparing to OEM.
I still think the OEM DRC ride in the RS4 feels more comfortable than the OEM S4 so there was nowhere to go but up for me. For you, maybe more of a compromise on rough road compliance.
YMMV.
Having said all that I knew I would swap suspension in a heartbeat if I had been able to get into an RS4.
Car looks great, man. Enjoy!
