Traded the RS4, picked up the M3 this evening.
I had to reorder a DCT car after backing out of the 6MT car I originally ordered that arrived in March. The DCT was definitely worth the wait. I'm tired and haven't even driven home yet so I'm parking it at gf's garage tonight.... but here's some crappy pics anyway. I'll take better ones this weekend.
So far, it's pwns! The DCT tranny is fast and seamless. Exactly what I expected. It's like SMG but doesn't suck. Exhaust note sounds even more exotic than the RS4's. I wouldn't say better but definitely different, although I've only gone as far as halfway up the 8300 rpm redline.
Time for some sleep. A very satisfied sleep.

yeah, I plan on at least one track event before the end of the season... or three...
I probably won't even bother with winter wheels or tires as I'll just make it a garage queen when road conditions don't cooperate and drive something else. Instead, I'll spend the mod fund on a nice set of track wheels and tires now that Michelin has decided to release a BMW M3-spec version of their Pilot Sport Cups.
