Default water spots

I was washing my car this morning, got a work call that I had to take and ended up with water spots. I've used a clay bar, polishing wax and they are a bit better but not gone. What else is there to try? What works best for getting rid of them?

Default Sonus SFX-1

Also, you may want to consider an in-line water softener to help de-mineralize your tap water.

I used Meguiar's #47 Hard Water Spot Remover today... it worked very well for me.

white vinegar mixed 50/50 with water. Wipe it on, rub a little, wipe it off. Nothing easier.

Default order yourself some menzerna, dont skimp on polish/wax on such a nice car....

stay away from all the store bought waxes and polishes.

a quick google search of Menzerna, will net you many vendors.

You can usually get a nice kit that come with a porter cable random orbital (cant do much damage with these).

I use the following on my car:

Menzerna Intensive Polish with orange cutting pad.
Menzerna Poish II with soft cutting pad.
Menzerna Glaze with black glazing pad.
Menzerna FMJ (full molecular jacket) wax/sealent with red waxxing pad.
Hand wax with Pinnacle Signature series wax or P21s

just my .02

my 6.5 year old b5 s4 still gets compliments on how nice it looks.

People ask my if its new all the time.

I can post some pics if you d like?

Default and for those of you that dont feel combfortable with machine polishing...

I highly recommend Klasse. Its very easy to work with by hand, and as long as you prep the car right, Klasse gives the best outcome with hand application.

here is my car at 5 years old right after a Klasse treatment hand applied. Followed with Pinnacle SS II wax.

Default before I would pick up a new product I would try Ip with a yellow pad

if that doesn't work I would probably upgrade to Super Intensive Polish orange or green pad and if that didnt' work go with the yellow pad.

I rarely use Power Gloss Compound however its quite a powerful compound.
