Default Well it seems the Immobilizer modification works great...

Finally had time to remove the cluster today in preparation for the roll cage to be installed (we may start this week). I wanted to make sure the car would start and run properly which it does.

Also found out that t the door open/lights On chime or buzzard is in the actual cluster/dash and when I disconnected the electrical harness to my driver's door, it confused the system because it saw that the door was open (even if it was closed) because to the system the circuit was open.

Because it uses canbus (digital signal) to communicate there is no way of looping the circuit to try to fool it. So the chime/warning for the door open/lights ON stayed on all the time and the only way to shut it up is to unplug or remove the cluster.

By doing this of course it confirms that the Immobilizer cancellation modification works.

Here's the cluster once removed. Very light and connected by two small harness.

Here's a picture showing the "behind the scene" or cluster thing. Notice that very big steel cross member that goes from left to right. That beam must be a strong structural part of the car. Can't wait to see how much stuff and weight can be removed from behind the dash.
