what are 08's going for?
what kind of discounts are ppl getting for 08's? i recall reading that audi was only going to sell convertible's for 08 but i guess that is not the case. anyways just curious what kind of discounts are being given considering the impending release of the B8 A4, and considering that even brand new M3's are being discounted fairly healthily.

collectible? i have some investment opportunities i'd like to share with you then. was kind of hoping that pricing pressure from the c63 and m3 would make the discounting more substantial than it is esp with the economy going in the dumps. if a cayman weren't so flashy i'd get one in a heartbeat considering the massive discounting it's getting. also does audi cpo rs4's? i know bmw doesnt do that with their m-cars making a used m5 a potentially wallet destroying proposition.

if you say it enough, maybe it'll be true... :) not this time though,
because dealer stock is ridiculously high. There is a certain dealer in San Jose, CA who now has more than 10 cars in stock right now. In early 2007, they were asking more than $10k over MSRP. Right now, they are offering $4k under MSRP just for asking. I'm sure one could negotiate down to dealer invoice (aka marketing fee inflated BS invoice which is real invoice + $500) if one so desired.

Yes Audi CPO's RS4's.
Personally the RS4 is the only logical choice. The M3 IMO is ugly and the C63 is not going to be as good as quality as the Audi or BMW. Performance wise the RS4 is fastest when in the hands of three normal drivers, but if you know how to drive and launch RWD, its a close race to 120 between the RS4 and M3 but the C63 walks away due to its higher HP and torque.
