Default What tire pressure are you guys running ?

It's been a while since we talked about tire pressures and now that summer is in full swing I was wondering what cold tire pressure people are generally running?

I think that 41psi (audi recommended pressure) is a little high even for these low profile tires, so I have been running about 38psi. So far I haven't noticed any odd tire wear but it could just be too early to tell.

Default I've always had good luck using...

...Griot's "Professional Tire Inflating Gun". Obviously, this is intended more for the garage.

Nice Italian product.<ul><li><a href="http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_2000&amp;L2=L2_3500&amp;SKU=9254 9">CLICKY</a></li></ul>

Default Picked this one up a bout a month ago..

Pretty happy with it. Digital read out, comes with batteries included, and its easy to carry just about anywhere. Was $8 + tax.<ul><li><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00080QHMM/103-8451996-5969446">http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00080QHMM/103-8451996-5969446</a</li></ul>

Default If you use the tried and true method of the weight of car divided by 100...

and add 2 PSI for the "heavy" part (front), you'll get roughly 42/40 f/r.

With that said, I think I'm running 39PSI front and about 37PSI rear. My tires are wearing fine also.
