What's the impression that this car makes on the general public?

What's the impression that this car makes on the general public?
I'm curious. I know that my 01 S4 rarely impressed anyone that wasn't a car fan. I was asked a billion times if thats an A4. I loved it, total sleeper.
I know the Rs4 is and even looks of much higher caliber, but what are your experiences, do random people think its an A4? Or maybe just a nice S4?
Other car i'm considering is e46 M3, which i think will lead a big group of random people to assume that i'm some kind of a**hole.
And.. no i'm not super obsessed with what others think, but its important - for me atleast.
Example: I am an independant IT consultant. I know that I make a certain first impression when I have a new appointment. And I'm not so sure, I want every new client to think that they must be overpaying me. (some would think that driving any Audi or BMW) - and on those days, I take my jeep ;-)

Car guys honk and shout compliments, everyone else thinks it's my mom's A4.
A Q-ship was an innocent looking merchant vessel with a small (maybe 3 or 4" gun) behind a hidden hatch on the side. Enough to sink a sub at close range.
The RS4 is like a fishing boat with an 18" main turret from the USS New Jersey hidden inside.

When I first got them, the RS4 garnered more compliments from men and the E92 M3 from women...
Generally speaking. But then the RS4 was a red 4-door and the M3 is a white coupe, whatever that means.
Overall, I received a lot more compliments during the first few weeks with the RS4 than the first few weeks with the M3. But come to think of it, hardly any of these compliments were from women with the RS4 (except my gf) which is in large contrast to the M3 where all the gestures and verbal approvals were mostly from women. Therefore, using basic rules of logic, since women generally prefer douchebags over nice guys, it proves the M3 is still the vehicle of choice for douchebags.
