Default Wow - Daytona/Silver Sunroof Delete spotted @ my dealer...

Wait... it's mine! Just got the call, picking it up at 5 p.m.

41 miles. Only person to drive it was the service manager to fill it up. When asked "what about the Sr. Tech for the prep? "The service manager is going on the drive with him". Whan asked about shipping blocks "All four have been removed".

Tech had to "take it out of shipping mode" which supposedly limits the speed and rpm to something like 30mph and 4000rpm. Man, what a great idea! No worries about transport people revving the heck out of it.

WoooHooo!

Default "All four have been removed"

but aren't there six total? I could be wrong on this but I'm certain the front suspension has four on their own while I'm assuming the rear has at least two more. Just a heads up since I'm one of the several people whom the dealer asserted that all block have been removed only to find out for myself when I jacked up the car that there two more upper suspension blocks that were not removed. Look for two green suspension blocks which have been often overlooked by many service departments since other non-RS4 B7 cars don't have it.

Oh, and congrats!

Default TPIWWP

Just kidding. Congratulations on the new ride! I just collected my Imola w/ Sunroof Delete 5 days ago. What is your reason for going with Sunroof Delete?

But seriously, post pictures.

Default So AOA allowed you to order it minus the sunroof. Did you have to forego any other other options.

When I ordered my A4 in '02 I specified no sunroof. Heck it saved me a $1,000. In subsequent years if you didn't want the sunroof you had to give up the premium package on the A4's. Womdering if that is the same case with the RS4's?

Default Still sits a bit high in front, but I jacked it up and it looks like they got them all - rats -

I was hoping for a souvenir

Thanks for the congrats. I'll write up an RS4 - M5 comparo soon. All I can say for now is that this car impresses the hell out of me in every detail.
