Xpost, my winter set-up

Re: Xpost, my winter set-up
Hey McGyver, I would really like to get some details on your Stasis set-up. You have really got you RS4 setting just right. I really want to keep the original rims and tire size like you have. Any info you would care to share like spring rates, height at each corner to keep from rubbing and any other details to help purchase and set-up a Stasis set up.

Thanks.
The spring rates are 800/1200 and height from street to top of wheel well (~25 3/4" rear and ~25 1/2" front). I don't have any rubbing with the current stock size tire.
I did have some problems with the RE01Rs (275s), but I believe that was an alignment issue given that there are several folks on this board running those tires with STaSIS MS suspension.
Not that it matters, but I've adjusted the dampers for their "street smooth" setting. It's an extremely comfortable ride vs. the "performance track" or "aggressive track" settings.
Good luck!

Tire Wear?
Hey McGyver - I have a question about tire wear? Have you seen any uneven or excessive tire wear with the height setting you are using? What I'm trying to understand is if a set or adjustable control arms are worth the time while I'm installing the Stasis set-up.
thanks,

MS on and Wow!!!!
McGyver, I have the MS system on the 07, with CPT upper control arms and an H-Sport rear sway - all aligned. This set-up rocks. Its like a different car. I had all four corners on the DRC leaking (there was still fluid but no pressure - it was time to do something). The ride is not harsh at all, but handling is crisp. Next stop is the Dragons Tail.
Thanks for the info on the settings and all the tips.

Excellent! How have you set the dampers (e.g., "aggressive street vs. comfortable street")
The adjustments available on the dampers are extremely noticeable. If you don't have the settings, I can send you a PDF document.

Used Aggressive Street setting from a recent set of spec's Jim Rose at Stasis sent me.
Jim sent an updated version of the of the MS Technical Spec Sheet - v4. I think the spec sheet was just released last week.
Settings I used are Aggressive Street for B7:
Front Shaft= 8
Front Reservoir = 10
Rear Shaft = 16
PM me and I'll send you a copy (pdf) or ping Jim at Stasis.
