BMW is realigning the 3-series.
328 -> A4 2.0t
335 -> A4 3.2
M3 -> S4
M3 CSL -> RS4
I hope they allow paint on the new M3 roof in the US. The UV/ozone/heat in Houston will make short work of the polyester resin holding those fibers together.

BMW will have an option available for steel roof+sunroof to replace CF/plastic roof
if the CF/plastic roof is painted some surface topography from the CF weave will show through

I don't buy your comparison
M3 -> RS4
335i 335xi coupe -> S5
328i 328xi coupe -> A5
335xi sedan -> S4
328i sedan -> A4 3.2
All of these comparisons have a similar performance range and potential buyers. In all cases the BMW has a price advantage. Not saying these are IDENTICAL comparisons, but as close as you can get between the 2 manufacturers.

What RS5 are you talking about?
When is the release date for that model? BTW, I have read about plans to have a 4 dr M3 model in the future. Probably about the same time Audi releases the RS5?(Maybe never)
