04 Nogaro s4 $37,998... Should I buy?
I'm coming to the dark side! I'm most likely trading in my SMG 2003.5 e46 M3 with 26k miles for an 04 s4 with 25k miles. The s4 is Nogaro blue with the two tone interior. Navigation, heated seats, BOSE XM radio, 6spd., Tinted windows, Moonroof, power everything yada yada yada. Pretty sure it has most if not all options. It's a carmax deal so there is no "Haggling". Seems to me like a fair price though, as blue book retail puts it at well over 40k. Theyre offering it pretty much private party value. There is one tiny ding in the driver door, but besides that it's clean inside and out. Should I join the dark side?!?!

No, definitely not. Raise them a few grand and see if you can call their bluff!
I'm kidding obviously...that seems like a great deal. You're right..usually when there's Navi, you'll have the other options as well. Did you notice blank buttons on the dash? If so, you have rear shades as well.

So what do I say to start off the haggling... He made it pretty clear telling me of a situation, of a gentleman wanting a lower price if he paid cash and the answer was no... I'm bad at haggling I guess. 
Just seemed like a good price compared to what I've seen elsewhere.

Yes it is the Atlanta s4
Now I'm wondering why it's been sitting there for 2 months. I'm in Vegas so I haven't been able to inspect it yet. Hey if anyone is around there take a look and let me know.

It does seem like a fair price, but don't hesitate to play the game a little, especially since the
car has been sitting there for some time now. I would think they would be pretty motivated to move the car. Best way to do it is state a price that you think is fair and if you get nowhere then be prepared to walk. Just make sure they have a way to contact you, because 9 times out of 10 you will get a call within a few days to a week (if the price you offered was reasonable). Good luck.

let them know that you know it has been sitting there and yes be prepared to walk...
...my car supposedly had a "buyer interested in TX who was coming up and.....blah blah blah". I took out my checkbook and said here is my price I will leave you a deposit right now.
