'04 vs. '05 pricing
I will find out this week if my insurance company will be "totaling" my '03 C32, and I'm planning to return to the Audi brand (my prior cars have included an S6, an A8 and an allroad). My local dealer has a '05 black S4 sedan on the lot, as well as an identical '04 (same options on both). The MSRP differential is $200, due to the price hike. However, the '04 has a windshield sign indicated a $6k discount. Assuming I'd be able to get a little off the '05, would you take the '04 or is the '05 worth $3-4k more? Advice?

It would depend on how long you plan to keep the vehicle
Also, whether you buy, lease, or finance. You might want to check KBB for 1 yr old used S4 because that is what you will have IMMEDIATELY upon driving off of the lot. Might not be a factor if you plan to keep vehicle a while. If not, lease terms for 42 months are really low right now on the '04
