Default I know that it's really bad for you now and no dog can ever replace your friend

but your dog had a full and long life and you know that you have done the best for him. You can't expect more than that. I know because I lost mine back in October. I still miss her, siezures and all. All I can say is that his memories will be with you always. After a month, we found another dog, same breed. She is not the same as my previous dog but in some ways, she does remind me of our previous dog. Now, she is developing her own personality and we love her. Its tough, but hang in there.

Default Very sorry...

I know we can receive a lot from a pet. My dog has been with me through a number of negative experiences, including a long period of unemployment, a divorce, my father's death, and my mother's stroke. I've come to think of her as my daughter, which explains my handle - her name is Whippie.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

Default Oh... that hurts as much as losing a child.... my condolences. I'm sure the dog felt love those

15 years, and for that very reason, you shouldn't feel sad.
