I have been going crazy since I got my '04 S4 two months ago. The Audi nav system was the only thing keeping me from buying the S4 until someone mentioned getting aftermarket nav. Problem solved! Now that I have the car, I realize there's no place to put it!!!

Has anyone added an aftermarket nav system in a new A4/S4? Please send some links or pics. Thanks.

Search the archives. There is a guy on AW who imports them from Germany for a reasonable fee

i have a pioneer aftermarket setup, dvd based with a 6.5 inch screen mounted on a flexible stalk on the passenger side of the center console. i like it very much, works very well. my dealer put it in when i got the car. i will take some pics and get them on here for you. has touch screen and voice command functions also. . also a friend of mine just got the garmin streetpilot 2610. a little less money but still a very nice setup - and his is portable from vehicle to vehicle with a detachable bean bag mount.
