Received a gift in the mail this week for following too closely back on 10 Jul. 95 Euros & 3 points for following 16 meters behind at 125 KMPH. Should have been 60 meters back. Two good things about this: my wife was in the car and I wasn't going fast at the time. Neither of us remember seeing the Polizei set up, and they are getting sneakier using video and hand held radar.

Default Yes, Be careful! My wife got one of those tickets 2 years ago...

They set those cameras up on the bridges with lines painted in front of them. When you come up to a bridge and notice thick white lines accross the lanes 50 meters apart...

Well, you know!! Did you get all the nice pictures from the video they shot of you!?

Default Thanks! Don't drive it much anymore but had to when the little red wagon was down for coilpacks.

Default They didn't send pictures but did say I could see the video and pictures.

Now days you have to watch every bridge & over pass for cameras and don't push speeding in zoned areas. My wife got blitzed/flashed the other night coming home from Stuttgart, near our town. Just passed a slow car she had been following for miles. She was going 120 in a 100 (Land Strassa through the woods). You can really tell when the camera red light flashes. I wasn't with her. Her first ticket! It will come in the mail and probably be 15-18 KMPH over. Glad she was in a company car.
