Anybody put a 6 disc in the glovebox on a b6?
The B7 comes with it, and I finally ordered on the other day but I am wondering how it will fit. On the B7 there is a slot for it, on ours there is not... ANy body have any experience with this?

With my B6 the hole where the changer goes is there and if you look in the back there are the holes and such for the cables and all pre-pressed into the plastic, i imagine you would just have to punch out the cutouts and then plug it in, i believe ours are all pre-wired for the changer. I was thinking about getting one as well ever since I upgraded to the RNS-E nav and lost my cd changer, my only hold up is I bought an ipod ice-link which uses the same plugs as the cd-changer so I'd have to give that up which I might do and just buy like two 2gb SD cards for my mp3's

I did the same as far as..
getting the rsne nav. and I got 2 2g sd cards so I can play mp3's but I have been driving around for months rarely using the actual nav because I always want to here a cd so the nav cd just sits there, thats why I finally decided to get the changer. My only concern is getting the cd changer to stay in place, in the B7 there is a clot where it slides in, in ours there is no slot...?

Your options are...
1. Cut out the back and figure out a way to mount the changer in there (it uses the slots and clips just the radio and RNS-E)
2). Buy a new glove box that is designed for the cd changer
Either way, you will still need a cable. Complexity of the cable varies as to the options you have. For example, if you have satellite radio and CD changer, you need to run the audio out of the cd changer to the satellite unit in the trunk. All of the answers to this can be found on the NAVplus web sire...as well as people who will build you custom cables to make it as easy on you as possible.

NAVplus

I bought cables from the dealership...
I had asked for a harness thinking that there would be an actual harness or box that the changer would slip into, but they handed me cables this morning and said that this is the wiring harness... I am going to look into how much aa new glovebox is, or if a can get it customly fit in there by a local stereo shop. Thanks for the help!
