Default Anyone have the transmission leak oil?

I took mine in on Monday and the dealer told me it was over filled from the factory and it was coming out of the pressure release valve. Heard of this problem? He said that he drained it to the proper level but today I still smell burning oil after I drive and I see oil on the ground in my garage.

Anyone able to help? I'm going to take it back Monday I guess. What a pain in the butt.

On a side note... Has anyone here had an Audi ignorant 1.8T A4 driver mess with them? I had one yesterday. He followed me around 3 roundabouts, revved his engine at a stop sign, tried to pass in a no passing zone and was up my *** the entire time even once I got on the Autobahn. As we were merging he tried to cut all the way to the left lane. Needless to say he got left behind. This guy was tripping me out with his crazy driving rice racer antics. I felt like I was back in the US at a stoplight next to a modded civic.

Anyway, help with the oil!? Thanks guys.

Default Yes, I see it. What was needed to fix it?

Just simply replace the O-ring or something more? Did you drive it to the dealer or have it towed? Did you notice it by the burning oil smell like me?

Thanks for the help!

Default no smell, but did find this one morning....

yup, it was a pretty simple fix, just replaced the o-ring, no need to drop the tranny. Dealer offered to send a flatbed, but said it would be fine to drive it in, so that's what I did. Didn't want to take the chance with the flatbed.
