anyone know if they are planning to put that direct shift gear box in the s4?

It will probably be a while before it is beefed up enough to handle the V8.
Next possible car to get it would be the new A6 3.2L V6 255HP. However initial introduciotn will feature the same 6spd tip in the current S4.

According to Car and Driver the next application has 1000+hp...
And is going to hook up with the W-16 in the Bugatti Veyron. And I'm sure that isn't spelled correctly so no flames.
