Default Audi has a lease special, but....

I'm on the AudiUSA website and they have a lease special going for the 2005 S4s. Heres a quick rundown:

42-month lease
3,794$ down payment
499$ a month

Rate based on $50,020.00 MSRP of 2005 Audi S4 sedan with 6-speed automatic transmission with tiptronic and quattroŽ all-wheel drive including Premium pkg., Metallic/Pearl effect paint, Northeast Emissions, and destination charge.

500$ a month rocks, but I think 42months is a bit too long for me. I know by 2 years I will want to get rid of the car for something else, thats just how I am. Also, the S4 of my choice would be cheaper because I would get it in Brilliant Red (w/o metallic/pearl effect paint), and a 6-speed manual transmission which doesnt hike the cost of the car.

I was wondering if it was possible to get the car I want for a less amount of time, and have somewhat of the same monthly payment. If its possible, how much extra would I have to put down to still get it for 500$/mo. Can this even be done? Thanks

Go to a dealership, and talk to a sales person. They are bending over to get rid of '05 models.

Sure you can get a lease ccustomized to your needs but not for $499 a month unless you are willing to pay more upfront.

Default Base MSRP (no options) for manual is actually higher than tip due to gas guzzler tax.

Gas guzzler doesn't apply to TIP so you save $1700 there vs. the $1200 premium for the automatic.

I wouldn't go that far.. 04's maybe.. 05's are holding $$$. It really depends on options etc.

Default He's right... depending on the area ...

Depends on the market in your area, but in general they are very motivated to move the 05 B6 S4s. I just got mine less than a week ago.

Default my lease deal....

I just got a sweet deal. 400 over invoice.

I did do the 42 mo. lease
But I did 1500/dn and 560/mo.
Keeping more cash in pocket.
I'm also going to buy the car out next year when we buy another house, so......

I wouldn't say they are going nuts to get rid of them.
3 dealers closer to me told me I couldn't get the deal I did.
One almost told me to F myself.

Well, I had to drive 53 miles to the dealership, but I got the deal on the car I wanted.

If you want less months on the deal the monthly payment WILL GO UP !!
