Default i had a guy in a porsche tell me how nice my car sounded yesterday. very happy with it.

a smidge more pickup too.

virtually non-existant on the highway, around town if i lug the engine it's definitely louder inside than stock. i think some of that has to do with being an avant.

i haven't set an alarm off yet, which I used to do with my thermal system for my 3.0

Default 25quattro stock exhaust vs milltek resonated cat

Hey 1in250, I see you have the resonated milltek catback on the 25quattro. I also have the 25quattro and am looking at the same exhaust. Would you be able to tell me how much louder the milltek is compared to the 25quattro exhaust? I am looking for something only a little louder than stock but with a better sound. Also, did you purchase the B6 milltek? Thanks.

You need to get the single tip rear valence, the the '04/'05 version. See link.

As for sound, it is not much louder. It's deeper. I did not want it to be louder, I wanted the perf gain (minimal as it is). If you want more sound go with non-Res. Or even more sound go with DPs and Res on the Milltek side.

If you want louder exhausts, STaSIS and FI are available.<ul><li><a href="http://www.stratmosphere.com/milltek_s4_exhaust_b6.htm">Milltek Exhaust</a></li></ul>

Thanks for the information 1in250. I decided to go with the Milltek non res catback. It sounds great, but it does drone at between 1500-2000 rpm when you accelerate but don't downshift. Does your res catback drone at that rpm range? Mine is quite loud.

Default Re: Here's a comparo between APR and STaSIS

man Im so torn...

I have a 25quattro(99of250) and I just can't make up my mind. I've seen videos on youtube of 'custom' magnaflow's on S4s which Magnaflow only offers for RS4's and it sounds awesome.

The neuspeed sounds awesome as well. but the clips here all sound good as well.

what to do, what to do...
